Dan R. Snuffer is a partner in the firm of Preston & Salango, PLLC.
He was born and raised in Charleston, West Virginia. In 1999, he graduated
from West Virginia University, with a Bachelor of Science in finance.
His postgraduate work was completed at West Virginia University’s
College of Law. There he received his doctorate degree in law in 2002.
Immediately upon graduating from law school, he moved to Wheeling, West
Virginia, where he served as a judicial law clerk with the Honorable Martin
J. Gaughan in the First Judicial Circuit of West Virginia. He has committed
his career and practice to civil litigation, with a particular passion
for product liability, workplace injuries, and negligent claim cases.
Mr. Snuffer has litigated hundreds of claims, including chemical exposure
in motor vehicle accidents and coal mining wrongful death cases.
He is a member of the West Virginia State Bar Association and is a board
member of the West Virginia Association for Justice, and is licensed to
practice in the State of West Virginia, the United States District Courts
for the Northern and Southern Districts of West Virginia. He works primarily
in Preston & Salango, PLLC’s Charleston office. When not working
on a case, he spends his time with his family and enjoying the outdoors
fishing, camping and hiking. He also enjoys volunteering his time with
Mr. Snuffer is an outdoor enthusiast, with personal interests that include
fishing, camping, and hiking. He also enjoys volunteering his time with
the Upper Glade Creek Flat Top Lake Area Conservation Club.
