Dan R. Snuffer is a partner in the firm of Preston & Salango, PLLC.
He was born and raised in Charleston, West Virginia. In 1999, he graduated
from West Virginia University, receiving a Bachelor of Science in finance.
He completed his postgraduate work at West Virginia University’s
College of Law, where he received his doctorate degree in law in 2002.
Immediately upon graduating from law school, he moved to Wheeling, West
Virginia, where he served as a judicial law clerk with the Honorable Martin
J. Gaughan in the First Judicial Circuit of West Virginia. Since then,
he has devoted his entire career to civil litigation focusing on workplace
injury, products liability, and general negligence claims. From timbering
and coal mining fatalities to chemical exposure to automobile accidents,
Mr. Snuffer has litigated hundreds of claims.
He is licensed to practice in the State of West Virginia, the United States
District Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of West Virginia.
He is a member of the West Virginia State Bar Association and is a board
member of the West Virginia Association for Justice. He works primarily
in the firm’s Charleston office. When he is away from work, he spends
his time with his family and enjoying the outdoors fishing, camping and
hiking. He also enjoys volunteering his time with various organizations.
Mr. Snuffer is an outdoor enthusiast, with personal interests that include
fishing, camping, and hiking. He also enjoys volunteering his time with
the Upper Glade Creek Flat Top Lake Area Conservation Club.
