Tera Salango


Tera Salango concentrates her practice in personal injury, medical negligence, trucking accidents, and wrongful death. A former assistant prosecuting attorney, Tera has handled dozens of jury trials to verdict. Her trials have been featured Headline News, TruTV and Nancy Grace.

Tera is a graduate of West Virginia State University and West Virginia University College of Law. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from West Virginia State University and was recognized as having the highest grade point average in her major. Tera graduated in the top 20% at West Virginia University College of Law and was a member of the Order of the Barristers. She received the “Best Brief” award for Moot Court and was a finalist in the WVU Mock Trial Competition. She has been recognized by the State Journal as one of the Top 40 West Virginian’s Under the Age of 40.

Tera is very active in community organizations. She serves on the Boards of Susan G. Komen (Charleston Division) and ProKids, Inc. She has also assisted in events for Parents of Murdered Children, Sojourner’s Women’s Shelter, Girls Night Out, National Crime Victim’s Rights Week, and the annual Angel Tree Lighting Ceremony honoring murder victims in Kanawha County. She lives in Charleston with her husband, Ben, and their two boys.
