Brett Preston is a founding partner of Preston & Salango, PLLC. He has litigated hundreds of claims and obtained successful verdicts and settlements for his clients in all types of injury cases, including those involving timbering and coal mining fatalities, chemical exposure, and automobile accidents.

Born and raised in Charleston, West Virginia, Mr. Preston earned a Bachelor of Science in biology from Wake Forest University in 1987, and obtained his law degree from the Wake Forest University School of Law in 1991. Since then, Mr. Preston has devoted his entire career to civil litigation, focusing on workplace injury, products liability, and general negligence claims.
Mr. Preston is licensed to practice in the State of West Virginia, the United States District Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of West Virginia and the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals. He is a member of the West Virginia State Bar Association and is a board member of the West Virginia Association for Justice.
When away from work, Brett is an avid mountain climber and enjoys spending time with his wife and three children. The family interests include horseback riding, tennis, piano, dance, swimming, and exercise.
