Ben Salango invited to present at West Virginia Association of Justice Annual Seminar

Founding member Ben Salango was invited to present at the West Virginia Association of Justice (WVAJ) Annual Seminar in February 2017. Ben’s presentation “Anatomy of a Personal Injury Trial” focused on strategies to obtain the best results for clients. Over 200 lawyers and judges attended the presentation.

With nearly 2 decades of experience in the legal community, Ben has tried almost 50 civil jury trials to verdict, disputed numerous cases in the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit and West Virginia Supreme Court of Appeals, and has recovered millions of dollars for his clients.

Ben is rated by his colleagues as one of the “Best Lawyers in America” in the area of personal injury litigation. He was also placed “AV” Preeminent® by his colleagues in the Martindale-Hubbell® legal directory for personal injury specializing in medical malpractice. This is the best rating an attorney can achieve and is attained through ratings by members of the judiciary and bar.

In 2012, he was acknowledged as one of the Top 40 West Virginians under the age of 40 by the State Journal . Ben has been endorsed as a member of both the Million Dollar Advocates Forum® and the Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum®. Less than 1% of U.S. attorneys are affiliates of The Million Dollar Advocates Forum, making it an incredible honor. He was also acknowledged by his colleagues for admittance in Super Lawyers® magazine. Less than two percent of West Virginia attorneys are recognized as a “Super Lawyer®”.

He is an alumni of West Virginia University and West Virginia University College of Law. Raised in Raleigh County, West Virginia, Ben frequently devotes time and money to charities in the area. Ben, his wife, Tera, and their two sons currently reside in Charleston. He is passionate about coaching baseball and soccer, community service, and representing impoverished clients in important cases pro bono.
